GLL is delivering The West Kent business support programme, aimed at businesses in West Kent (Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells). The programme supports businesses to grow, increase their productivity and visibility through the delivery of: mentoring, workshops, networking, business grants and the West Kent Expo.

 

The Project Assistant will be based in Woolwich Library and will work with the West Kent Coordinator and the Strategic Business Support Manager. As a key member in the team, you will support with administrative tasks such as processing registration forms, updating excel sheets, supporting with the creation of monthly reports, processing (and raising) invoices, adding customers to D365, supporting with administration of events and creating social media posts.

 

This is a fixed term, 14 hour per week post to 31st March 2026. Applicants with permanent GLL contracts will retain their permanent status.

 

Salary is Senior Library Assistant level

 

What you'll do:

 

As a key member in the team, you will support with administrative tasks such as:

1. processing registration forms

2. updating excel sheets

3. supporting with the creation of monthly reports

4. processing (and raising) invoices,

5. adding customers to D365 (our finance system)

6. supporting with administration of events and creating social media posts.

Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy when entering or verifying data.

Organisational Skills – Managing multiple forms efficiently

Time Management – Meeting deadlines for processing

Problem-Solving – Handling inconsistencies or missing data

Technical Skills – basic understanding of Microsoft Excel

Communication Skills – Writing clear, audience-appropriate posts

Digital Literacy – Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tool
