GLL is looking for a Swimming Coach to work at Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre joining the coaching team for the Barnet Training Scheme. What you’ll do:

 

  • Deliver pupil focussed sessions in a passionate and professional manner Monday to Friday 17:30-21:00 and Saturday 06:00-09:00 - 20.5 hours

  • Ensure sessions are delivered in line with guidelines and take responsibility for the safety of your pupils

  • Undertake any necessary administration, captured manually or electronically to the compliance of relevant to specific aquatic discipline

  • Maintain a good and positive image of the Centre to customers and the public generally by providing a welcoming, helpful and professional poolside service.

  • Comply with the commitments outlined in the ‘Customer Charter’, ensuring that standards are maintained as stipulated.

  • Understand and follow the Safeguarding Policy and Procedure & Behaviour policy contained within the Swim School product.

  • Record and complete relevant certification in line with expected standards, ensuring that the levels are obtained

  • Coach to the standard set within the product manual to ensure a consistent approach throughout all the centres.

What you need:

 

  • Essential STA Certificate Level or Swim England Level 2 qualification

  • Experience of working with swimmers through a range of ages

  • Commitment to ongoing personal development
