Join Our Team – Swimming Teachers Wanted at Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex!

GLL is recruiting passionate and experienced Swimming Teachers to help people of all ages develop confidence and master an essential life skill. This is your opportunity to deliver engaging, safe, and effective swimming lessons that truly make a difference.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver high-quality, consistent swimming lessons to children and adults, in groups or one-to-one.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional poolside presence to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
  • Encourage re-enrolments and actively promote additional courses.
  • Teach to the standards outlined in our product manual for consistency across all sessions.
  • Comply with safeguarding policies and ensure pupil safety at all times.
  • Complete and record relevant awards in line with expected standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • Fully qualified STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 1 & 2 qualifications.
  • Knowledge of health and safety, safeguarding, and child protection policies.
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to motivate pupils.
  • A positive, friendly, and supportive approach to teaching.
