Start Up Bromley is a business support service for Bromley based aspiring and current entrepreneurs. The programme offers workshops, webinars, 1:2:1 advice, networking and opportunities to trade etc. to assist those starting or developing new businesses.

 

Start Up Bromley is based in Bromley Central, Orpington and Biggin Hill libraries. Each library has a Business Lounge available for use by Start Up Bromley members. Bromley Central Library also has rooms to hold training and advice sessions and business meetings.

 

The Project Assistant will be based at Bromley Central Library and will work with the Bromley Business Support Manager to effectively run Start Up Bromley. As a team you will ensure the local community is aware of Start Up Bromley via your marketing and outreach work. You’ll also support with administrative tasks such as processing new members, drafting emails, responding to enquires about Start Up Bromley and supporting with writing content for the newsletter. As and when required, you will also support with ensuring workshops and events run smoothly

 

This is a fixed term, 18 hour per week post to 31st March 2025. Applicants with permanent GLL contracts will retain their permanent status.
