GLL is currently looking for Regional Sports Manager, based at Copper Box Arena (Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park). Join us as a Regional Sports Manager and play a key role in developing sports across the south of England. As an experienced Sports Manager, you’ll thrive on supporting local management teams to achieve the full potential. A Regional Sports Manager will draw on their knowledge to support, development, implementation and review Sports across the region. You will be required to work towards the strategic sports framework, monitor and review key areas of the business include programming, Product development, Workforce planning, Marketing and PR, Budgets and customer service.
We’re looking for Regional Sports Manager who is hard working, approachable, patient, and willing to motivate others through encouragement and praise. You’ll need a background in sport, experience in project management, knowledge of health, safety and other relevant legislation will be vital too, as well as an understanding of Child Protection Policy.
What you will do:
Support the National Sports and Aquatics team to deliver the sports framework.
Work closely with key stakeholders to understand the requirements and needs to develop sport.
Use your knowledge to support local management teams with product development, implementation and review of Sports products across the region.
Maintain a good and positive image of the Sports and Aquatics team to local management teams and customers by providing a welcoming, helpful and professional service.
Manage the core sports product KPIs to achieve growth and efficiency in key areas of the business while monitoring the customer experience data to improve service and retention.
Support with product guidance and ensure that all relevant regulations applicable to the centre's operation are enforced and complied with.
Ensure that all relevant Safeguarding Policy and Procedure & Behaviour policy contained within the Sports product are enforced and complied with.
