GLL is looking for a Riding Instructor to work at Lee Valley Riding Centre. If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Riding Instructor, there's never been a more exciting time to join us. This is more than a Riding instructor job, it's a career. 

We are keen to hear from BHS qualified riding instructors with experience of working at a commercial riding school. You will provide riding lessons and lectures to customers and staff. You will assist our team of staff to provide the best possible care to our horses. Under the guidance of our Yard Manager, you will meet deadlines, work reliably and responsibly and be a key part of our dedicated team. Great communication skills and an ability to develop a rapport and create a positive experience for customers is a must. 

 

What you’ll do:

 

*   Providing coaching to a wide range of customers of all ages and abilities, including ridden sessions and stable management training 

*   Ensuring health and safety and safeguarding guidelines are met by all customers and visitors to the riding centre 

*   Assisting the yard Manager with efficient and effective operation of the stables and yard

What you need: 

 

*         BHS Stage 2 complete coach upwards. 

*         Enthusiasm 

*         Patience 

*         Dedication to horse welfare 

*         Experience teaching in a riding school environment – desirable
