GLL is looking for People Administrator, to work at our Support Services office in Woolwich Arsenal on a 20 hour part time FTC. The People Administrator is responsible for providing vital administrative support to the people team. Key accountabilities include checking RTW, internal audits on DBS checks issuing employment contracts, supporting the onboarding process for new starters, posting job advertisements, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date recruitment databases. This role offers the opportunity to develop practical HR skills while ensuring the smooth operation of the recruitment process. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the People Team.
What you’ll do:
- New starter employment checks
- RTW checks and audits
- DBS checks and audits
- Making sure that all information is recorded correctly within our HR system
- Support in issuing employment contracts
- Updating job descriptions
- Updating job adverts

What you need:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint).

This is a part time 20 hours per week FTC. Hours of work will be negotiated with you in line with the needs of the service, working from home is not possible in this role.
