Are you a skilled digital content professional with a passion for SEO and online engagement? GLL, the UK’s largest leisure and libraries operator, is looking for a Marketing Programme Owner to join our Marketing Team.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing our online presence by optimising local SEO, creating and updating digital content and supporting core marketing activity. You'll work closely with internal teams, external agencies and key stakeholders to ensure our digital platforms are accurate, engaging and performing at their best.

Key responsibilities
Optimise and update local SEO content, business listings and web pages.
Support internal teams to ensure location-based information is accurate and best practices for online reviews are followed.
Create and edit website pages and content using multiple content management platforms, ensuring SEO best practices are applied.
Track and report on local SEO and content performance using Google Analytics.
Work with other Marketing Programme Owners and agencies to deliver core marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to tailor content for local audiences and ensure brand consistency.
What we’re looking for
Experience in digital and website content production, and SEO.
Strong knowledge of content management platforms and SEO best practices.
Familiarity with Google My Business, Bing Places and Apple Maps.
Ability to analyse digital performance using Google Analytics.
Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.
Highly organised with great communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
This position provides the option to work in-person at any of our UK locations, subject to role-specific requirements and availability.
