Multisite M&E Building Service Engineer supporting 6 venues across Lee Valley. Venues include the iconic Lee Valley VeloPark, plus the Hockey and Tennis Centre on the QEOP. Also the newly built state of the art Lee Valley Ice Centre, White Water Centre, Athletics Centre and Riding Centre.
Role to include:
To undertake and review the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme and routine maintenance tasks across the Lee Valley Partnership Venues.
To ensure that all tasks and records are completed and logged fully at Venues in accordance with set policies and procedures.
To provide electrical and mechanical services on a reactive and planned basis.
To ensure all mechanical and electrical assets are maintained and serviced as detailed in CAFM and ensuring full lifecycle is achieved.
To ensure that the Health & Safety regulations are met by contractors for works being supervised.
Support as directed to Instruct, monitor and report on the performance of any sub-contracted works linked to mechanical and electrical systems within the venues.
Ensure plant and systems are optimised to minimise energy consumption.
Work with FM and Venue Teams to identify innovation opportunities.
Undertake general maintenance tasks as required – detailed in the venues Defects Log Track progress / CAFM system and update on any outstanding works
Update Venue managers on faulty or failing items and support work to repair or replace equipment.
Ensure all maintenance consumables are available and arrange replenishment of all items to ensure agreed stock levels are maintained
Provide FM cover during Events at venues as required.
Oversee contractors working on Maintenance related projects as directed.
Desirable experience and qualifications would; City & Guilds level 3 in electrical installations 18th Edition IET (Wiring Regulations), experience of Building Management Systems, Fire Alarms, CAFM and other automated packages, City & Guilds 2391 – PAT Testing Periodic Inspection and Testing PASMA/IPAF certified, Ice chiller plant experience.
