GLL is looking a Junior HR Business Partner, to work at our support office in Woolwich Arsenal. As a Junior HR Business Partner your role is to provide comprehensive HR advice and support to managers and employees (mainly within their geographical Region) in line with the organisation’s policies, procedures and legal requirements.

 

The job holder will be responsible for recruitment and retention activities, L&D administration as well as advising managers on casework where necessary and building excellent working relationships with stakeholders.

 

The role additionally supports the HRBP on the administrative management of Employment Tribunals and the delivery of the corporate and local HR Strategy and objectives, through project work. As Junior People Business Partner, you will become familiar with the operations of the regions and keys performance indicators (KPI'S) and work with the people partners and the wider people

team.

 

You will support in line managing the People Advisors and People Administrators.

*         To support the co-creation and delivery of the planned initiatives of the prioritised people plan which supports the regions business strategy

*         To ensure interventions and initiatives which will include induction and embedding the GLL values and behaviours, communication, engagement, people development and feedback.

What you need: 

*         Attention to detail/organisational skills

*         Excellent IT and administration skills

*         Ability to manage own workload and achieve deadlines

*         CIPD qualification level 5, HR

*         Management degree or already part qualified and actively working toward either of both.

*         Excellent literacy and Numeracy skills

*         Experience of providing advice and support on a range of key HR Activities such as conduct, capability, absence, grievance and employee relations issues.

*         Up-to-date and proven experience of managing disciplinary, grievance and absence management and other employee relations case work.
