GLL is looking for a Football Development Officer to work for Islington Football Development Partnership on a 20 hour per week pro rated week contract . Responsibilities
Managing various women’s small-sided football leagues include the 7-a-side league at Whittington Park on Tuesday evenings.
Creating invoices for schools and partners who hire our football services.
Collecting and tracking of income.
Collecting participation figures for the monthly report.
Organising registration for children's football school holiday camps and events.
Dealing with bookings and enquiries from the public.
Helping to process recruitment paperwork for new staff.
Maintaining up-to-date records of staff training and qualifications.
Assisting at events as required.
What you need:
Knowledge
- Knowledge of football rules and regulations
- Understanding of the grass roots football
- Aware of Health and Safety legislation and other legislation in relation to football operations.
- Understanding of Child Protection Policy, Equal Opportunities Policy and Revenue Protection
Qualities
- Willing to have an Enhanced DBS check.
- Must have an interest/passion for football.
- Work will involve some unsocial hours, some of which will be outdoors.
- Organised and reliable
- Comfortable dealing with parents and their queries and concerns with tact and sensitivity
- Able to work with a range of different stakeholders
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Able to work within time-pressures/constraints
- Consistent communicator
