We are currently seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Business Insight Manager, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex data to provide valuable recommendations for enhancing customer engagement, increasing revenue, and improving operational efficiency.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines to automate data collection, processing, and storage.
Collecting, cleaning, and organising large datasets from various sources, including databases, CRM systems, and Excel files, using ETL processes.
Applying statistical techniques to analyse and interpret data, identifying trends, patterns, and relationships.
Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that visually showcase your insights in a compelling manner.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve specific business problems and drive results.
Staying up to date with new developments in data analysis and technology, while ensuring compliance with relevant UK regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A strong background in mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
Experience with data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python.
Knowledge of Python analytical frameworks such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
Strong knowledge in ETL and data pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Experience in the leisure or retail industry is a plus.
