We are currently seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Business Insight Manager, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex data to provide valuable recommendations for enhancing customer engagement, increasing revenue, and improving operational efficiency.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines to automate data collection, processing, and storage.

  • Collecting, cleaning, and organising large datasets from various sources, including databases, CRM systems, and Excel files, using ETL processes.

  • Applying statistical techniques to analyse and interpret data, identifying trends, patterns, and relationships.

  • Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that visually showcase your insights in a compelling manner.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve specific business problems and drive results.

  • Staying up to date with new developments in data analysis and technology, while ensuring compliance with relevant UK regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A strong background in mathematics, statistics, or a related field.

  • Experience with data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python.

  • Knowledge of Python analytical frameworks such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.

  • Strong knowledge in ETL and data pipelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

  • Experience in the leisure or retail industry is a plus.
