GLL is looking for a Children’s Centre Business Manager on a Fixed Term Contract of 3 months with a possibility of this being extended to work in our South Greenwich Children Centres. The Business Manager role is responsible for working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a lead role with responsibility for the day-to-day management, motivation and development of the Children’s Centre Admin Support Officers and the Maintenance Team, to ensure an efficient and effective service.

What you’ll do:

  • The Business Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Admin Support Officers team provides an excellent customer-focused frontline service and maintains a safe and compliant environment for all staff and visitors.

  • Overseeing finance and data systems, ensuring they are used to their full potential.

  • Managing the recruitment of new staff, internal and transfers

  • Handling maintenance queries from Children's Centre Duty Managers and following up accordingly with RBG and/or GLL Suppliers.

  • Managing Children's Centre Income & Expenditure logs.

  • Overseeing the SGCC repairs and Invoice mailboxes.

  • Approving Purchase Requisitions (PRs) on finance systems.

  • Contract management and service agreements
