GLL is looking for a Children’s Activity Instructor to work at Windrush Leisure Centre in Witney, leading our Toddler World sessions. If you have the enthusiasm and commitment to join us as a Children’s Activity Instructor, there's never been a more exciting time to come on board. This is more than just a childcare job – it's a chance to inspire and engage through play. As a Children’s Activity Instructor, you’ll be friendly and approachable, as well as imaginative, energetic, and a positive role model for the children and families attending our sessions. This role will involve working every Wednesday from 08:30 to 12:30, supporting and leading our Toddler World soft play product.
What you need:
Experience working with young children, particularly under 5s, is desirable
A confident and engaging approach to delivering sessions
A good understanding of what parents and carers value in a children’s activity setting
*Awareness of health & safety responsibilities and safeguarding practices (training provided)
A proactive and responsible attitude with a focus on safety, fun, and inclusivity
What you’ll do:
Deliver and supervise engaging play-based sessions for toddlers and their carers
Ensure that all brand and safety guidelines are followed
Follow relevant safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Set up and pack down equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment
Ensure every child feels welcomed, included, and supported
Report any safeguarding concerns to the Shift Duty Manager
