Career Opportunity - Centre Based Partnership Manager - West Oxfordshire - 6 month Secondment
We are seeking expressions of interests, for a 6-month secondment from existing centre-based Partnership Managers or General Managers who aspire for Partnership Manager, to join the West Oxfordshire Leadership team.
We are looking for an existing, ambitious GM or centre-based PM who would like a 6-month opportunity to develop their career further. You will be responsible for 8 community leisure facilities across West Oxfordshire. As centre based Partnership Manager, you will be a figurehead for a team made up of 200 staff in West Oxfordshire, leading and inspiring them to drive participation, income and social value. Building on an already positive client relationship, you will continue to grow and drive performance within the Partnership over the next 6 months.
You will also have GM responsibilities for Windrush Leisure Centre - As General Manager, a flagship facility in West Oxfordshire partnership you'll have a big part to play in shaping a clear strategic framework to deliver our operational and financial targets - all whilst forging even stronger links with our business and community partners. The centre facilities include a 120+ station gym, 2 fitness studios. a six lane 25m swimming pool, a teaching pool, 4 court sports hall, 3 squash courts and a wellness hub.
What you will do:
Develop and implement operational plans within the Centre.
Provide leadership to the Centre Team.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements
Encourage innovation within the region.
Lead, plan and implement change
Help team members address problems affecting their performance
Build and sustain collaborative relationships with other organisations
Manage finance for your area of responsibility
Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
Manage a programme of complementary projects
Manage business processes
Develop and implement marketing plans for your area of responsibility
Work with others to improve customer service
Build your organisation’s understanding of its market and customers
Manage the achievement of customer satisfaction
The area is known for its beautiful countryside which includes parts of the Cotswolds but is still in proximity of Oxford and has reasonable links to London making it a convenient location. The area has a strong sense of community, schools and cultural attractions.
