GLL is looking for experienced instructor in the Reading area for our 'Weight Loss with Better' Adult Weight Management programme.
Weight loss with Better is a healthy lifestyle programme combining weight management workshops, nutritional advice and physical activity alongside behaviour change techniques.
The programme is designed to support those who are referred into the service or those self referring by giving them the right information and tools to adopt a healthier lifestyle and reduce the health risks associated with being overweight and obese.
As one of our Instructors, you will be responsible for triaging referrals, carrying out assessment and for delivering healthy lifestyle workshops, including both education and physical activity.
You will be required to deliver the programmes across a variety of our Reading based centres
You will need to have:
Experience of working with adults in groups
Qualifications at Level 3 (minimum) within a fitness/nutrition setting
Qualifications at Level 3 Fitness instructor or Personal Trainer
Qualification at Level 3 Exercise on Referral
Flexibility to work afternoons and evenings (3pm – 7pm) and weekends
